Big Bad Wolf 2025 Brings Back Books, Fun, and Community Spirit for All Readers to Azuela Cove, Davao City
The Big Bad Wolf Books in Davao 2025 opened its doors with a renewed mission—to bring people together in a shared love for stories, inspiration, and the simple comfort that books bring.
Hosted at The Tent, Azuela Cove, this year’s sale provides a spacious, safe, and easily accessible ground-level venue for all visitors. To make the experience even more convenient, free shuttle services to and from Azuela Cove are available throughout the event. Book lovers can enjoy the sale from November 13 to 24, 2025, open daily from 10 AM to 12 Midnight.
Opening day was filled with excitement as friends reunited, families explored the aisles, and Wolfie, the event’s beloved mascot, welcomed guests with photo ops and high-fives. The festive mood was made even more vibrant by local buskers playing live acoustic sets, surrounding the venue with warmth, rhythm, and community spirit.

Joining the celebration were Big Bad Wolf Business Director Bernard Lee, Big Bad Wolf Books Philippine Country Head Ley Almeda, and Ms. Salome Enoc, Officer-in-Charge of the City Library and Information Center. Their presence highlighted how the return of Big Bad Wolf Books to Davao reflects the city’s resilience and its enduring passion for stories that inspire growth, generosity, and hope.
In partnership with the Local Government of Davao, Big Bad Wolf Books is donating books to strengthen local learning communities—empowering young readers and reaffirming the belief that access to stories can build emotional resilience and spark new beginnings.
“Books have the power to unite, to comfort, and to inspire. We’re thrilled to be back in Davao not only with millions of stories to explore, but also with the opportunity to uplift local communities and young readers as they rebuild and continue to grow,” shared Bernard Lee.

Ley Almeda added, “This year’s Big Bad Wolf Books Sale in Davao is more than a book sale. It’s a celebration of hope, learning, and generosity. Beyond initiatives like the Campus Challenge and our book donations, we’re also shining a light on community collaboration—from the workshop with Amber (@amberclopedia) to book signings with local authors, and performances by community buskers—all working together to inspire creativity, connection, and a shared love for reading.”
To strengthen its support for local schools, Big Bad Wolf Davao is launching this year’s Campus Challenge: Read It to Win It, a fun and inspiring reading-centered competition open to schools across Davao City. Parents and students can join by registering as Big Bad Wolf Members, selecting their school during checkout, and presenting a valid school ID for verification. Every ₱2,000 single-receipt purchase counts as one entry for their school.
A daily leaderboard on Instagram Stories will display which schools are leading in book purchases and attendance, sparking a lively and friendly competition among participating schools. Over the 12-day event, the top-performing schools will win the following book prizes:
-
1st Place: Library Grant (1,500 books)
-
